Pixel Pearl - Falling

I really like this piece overall. I rated the vision as 4.5/5 stars, since the idea of Pearl falling and crying is very cool, and I like the way her hair, arms and legs are all held upwards due to her speed. I rated the originality as 3/5 stars, as it is a fairly unique idea with her falling backwards and crying, but it is fanart, so it can't really be completely original. I rated the technique as 3.5/5 stars because although general shading techniques and semi-chibi anatomy was used well, not all of the proportions really "worked" with the falling action. Her head could have been tilted forward more, and her arms would probably be more extended. Also, the tears probably could have been animated more, instead of just moving up and down with Pearl. I gave 4/5 for impact, since It gives a very clear idea of Pearl's sadness and you can immediately identify the character and what is happening. It also just looks good in general <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/let…" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="395" title=" (Lick)"/> Overall, very good job! ^^
